Selection and purchasing the right pair of flip flops is more of an art than a science. Most importantly, it is necessary to find a pair that is comfortable and fits you properly. Style is also important, but is not a substitute for comfort! When you are trying on the flip flops take a good look at your feet while standing. Finally, if you have flip flops that fit properly, you won't need to slide or scoot along like you're on ice skates.
Remember to wear flip flops for fun and casual times but not all the time. Flip flops do not support your feet and should never be worn if you have a lot of walking to do. Excessive walking while wearing flip flops can lead to sensitive blisters and sore arches.
